A playwright and theatremaker by trade, Gigi moved to New Orleans in 2005 after a long family love affair with the city. While making theatre in a flooded-out Mid City raised basement, she received a BA from the University of New Orleans, taught art in New Orleans public schools, and later earned an MFA in playwriting from the University of Texas at Austin.
Gigi has an enduring passion for old houses and for making any and every space inviting. She became interested in real estate while teaching herself the ins and outs of the home buying process. As an artist, she believes homeownership provides an anchor for adventurers and entrepreneurs of all stripes. It is a vital tool for planting generational wealth and it’s the glue that holds together the neighborhoods which make New Orleans so singular. She also knows how daunting the process can be and is happy to help folks navigate first-time home buying and selling.
When not connecting people to spaces they love, Gigi may be found in Brooklyn where she also shares time, or making meals with her partner in their Bywater house, or plotting up a new piece of theatre.
